T-Bird

To start, we decided to do a T-Bird blog. There has been alot of questions about the suit.
So read up and check out the pics.

Jeff Nebelkopfs latest Brain Child the Thunderbird is a result of over a year of research, building and testing. We recognized the need for a mid range suit, but would not sacrifice precious performance.

Enter the Thunderbird!

Photos by Scotty Burns
With the wing profile this suit allows for very stable flight, easy reach for deployment and is very easy on the arms. The wing root of the Tbird is the same length as a Super Mach 1. The first Two cells are that length, giving the suit balance, and HUGE lifting power. The wing then tapers Up and out, clearing all the inside wing out. This gives the Suit really nice forward speed. Also allowing for very easy inputs and EASY pull.

Our airlock and cross porting technology allow ALL of our suits to inflate VERY rigidly. The wings of this OR any of our suits do not flap. We have a patented inside zipper on the wings. These allow the user to control the inflation level on the suit. For example, If you want to learn acrobatics opening the zippers in the wing will remove the airlock. This will make the wings easier to shut down for rolls and such. Remember though, this will take some performance away. The open zippers allow or an easier deployment. Base Jumpers and new flyers like this feature as it means a guaranteed legwing shutdown.

All T-Birds come with the new Safety sleeve. This patented sleeve design allows you to reach out of the suit Instantly. Combined with our Legwing zipper pulls, You can have Arms and Legs free in seconds. (Great for Base).
